Rope became a really strong aspect of my life. Part of it is that I really like making things with my own hands, so the rope that I’m gifting the project is one of the very first ropes I made. This particular one actually has a lot of sentimental value to me. It became a very strong, somehow magical tool, for me.
I’d actually just been through my first ayahuasca experience, and something that was very present with me was the colour that you can see, this blue. I bought some cotton thread in the shop with that colour. It took a really long time to make because I had to go backwards and forwards with the actual thread, and then also backwards and forwards with the material to make it. It’s made from jute fiber, so it’s a natural fiber.
Seile sind zu einem wichtigen Teil meines Lebens geworden. Zum Teil liegt das daran, dass ich es mag, Dinge mit meinen eigenen Händen herzustellen. Das Seil, das ich dem Projekt überreiche, ist eines der ersten Seile, die ich selbst gemacht habe. Gerade dieses eine hier hat einen großen sentimentalen Wert für mich. Es ist zu einem starken, fast magischen Werkzeug für mich geworden.
Ich hatte grade meine erste Erfahrung mit ayuhuasca gemacht und diese Farbe, dieses Blau, war sehr präsent für mich darin. Ich habe ein paar Baumwollfäden in der Farbe gekauft. Es hat mich viel Zeit gekostet, es zu machen, weil ich immer wieder vor und zurück mit dem Hauptfaden musste und dann nochmal vor und zurück mit dem Material. Es ist aus Jutefaser, also aus natürlichem Material.
La cuerda se convirtió en un aspecto realmente fuerte de mi vida. Parte de esto es que me gusta mucho hacer cosas con mis propias manos, y la cuerda que estoy regalando al proyecto es una de las primeras que hice. Ésta en particular tiene mucho valor sentimental para mí. Se convirtió para mí en una herramienta muy fuerte; en cierto sentido, mágica. Incluso acababa de pasar por mi primera experiencia con ayahuasca, y algo que estuvo muy presente fue el color que pude ver, este azul. Compré un hilo de algodón de ese color. Me llevó mucho tiempo hacerlo porque tuve que destejer y volver a tejer el hilo original, y luego otra vez con el material con el que la hice. Es fibra de yute, así que es una fibra natural.
